Salkanty is one of the most beatiful snowwy Andean mountain (6372 m.) surrounded by a huge vegetation. in the Inca Empire, this mountian was regarded as a Sacred deity, so worshiped. Inca trail trek towards uniting the mysterius lost city of Machu Picchu with the mountains and snow-capped peak of Salkantay.

Day 1: Cusco - Mollepata - Soraypampa.

On our first day, we ell begin at 5:00 am, with a journey that will take us about an hous by bus then walk for about five hours through the Rio Blanco valley, whose icy water falls form the snow-capped of Salkantay. this dat we will camp in Soraypampa.

Walking time: 05 hours.

Day 2: Soraypampa - Step Humantay - Challhuay

We will leave soraypampa camp and continue along the local road market by traces of bovine cattle. From here we can see the natural beauty of Santa Teresa with its lakes and snowy peaks. Along the way we will find stone mounds called Apachetas (Inca tradition). This day, we will camp in Challhuay.

Walking time: 07 - 08 hours

Day 3: Challhuay - Santa Teresa

Paths will cross down towards the town of sawayaco, here we see the fruit plantations such as bananas, lemons, coffe, sugarcane and other tropical fruits as well as cocoa plants. From Sawayaco we will go by bus to the town of Santa Teresa, where you can relax the muscles in the hot spring of the place. tonight we will have dinner and spend the night in the town of Santa Teresa.

Walking time: 04-06 hours.

Day 4: Santa Teresa - Machu Picchu Pueblo

This day we will have a two-hour walk to the village of Machu Picchu called Aguas Calientes. We will arrive at the hotel booked to rest in our booked rooms. then you will have all afternoon free to explore the town, go to the hot springs or take photos.

Walking time: 02-04 hours.

Day 5: Town of Machu Picchu - Cusco

We will get up early for sunrise at Machu Picchu, we can go by bus up or walking by the Inca steps. Upon arrival to machu Picchu Archeological park, the expert guide will lead a tour of two hours and we will take pictures and explore the place. After returning to Aguas Calientes whre we catch the train back to Ollantaytambo, the the bus will be waiting to take us back to El Virrey Boutique in Cusco.
